CitiDISK HD( bundled with hard disk ): CitiDISK HD is a portable, self-powered and controlled by camera unit; it captures DVCPro, DVCPro 50 and DVCPro HD streams at the time as shooting to tape, stores video as user-selectable, RawDV, AVI’s or QuickTime MOV in a FAT32 file system. Best fit for Panasonic AJ-HPX3000G, HPX2000, HPX800, HPX500, SPC700, HVX200, 200E, 202 and HDX900 camera. The unit is also backward compatible with DV50 and standard DV(DV25), miniDV camera too, but NOT suitable for HDV camera. Note: HD camera can shot HiDef video too but the video is compressed by intra-frame DV compression only, totally different as what HDV camera produced( MPEG2-LongGOP ).; I'm have been using CitiDISK HD for a long time, it works great, now it captures one file only. How does it happen and how to resolve it?; Do I need to re-format the CitiDISK HD? CitiDISK HDV & DV (bundled with hard disk): The CitiDISK DV is a portable, self-powered and controlled by camera unit; it captures DV streams at the time as shooting to tape, stores video as user-selectable, RawDV, AVI’s or QuickTime MOV in a FAT32 file system. The CitiDISK HDV is backward compatible and works just like the CitiDISK DV if the incoming FireWire signal is DV; additionally, it automatically sense the incoming HDV FireWire signal and store it as M2T extension file. The CitiDISK HDV tested to be compatible with Sony HVRZ1U, HDRFX1, HVRA1U, HDRHC1, HDRHC3 & Canon XLH1, X1H1, XH-A1 & JVC GYHD100U, GYHD110, GR-HD1US, but NOT the Panasonic HVX200 DV100 camera. Note: HDV camera can shot HiDef video too but the video is compressed MPEG2( long GOP ), totally different as what Panasonic HVX200 produced( HD/DV ).; Do I need to re-format the CitiDISK HDV/DV? Whether I push the camcorder "REC" button or the red button on the Citidisk DV, the red LED flashes, but never becomes solid. If I push the button again it stops flashing. CitiDISK Jr. Kits (no device bundled): CitiDISK Jr. kit integrates Firewire or/and USB2.0/1.1 technology into the enclosure which also holds for one 2.5" hard disk (model 256x) or holds for one 3.5" hard disk (mdoel 353x). This product line does NOT support DV direct recording from camcorder.; No dirve icon shows up in "MyComputer".; Do I need Firewire driver for Windows98SE/ME/Win2K/XP?; Do I need driver for Firewire device in MacOS?
