And since you can’t re-capture time, the CitiDISK™ HD is a highly effective tool, eliminating the time consuming process of re-capturing Panasonic DVCPRO HD®, DVCPRO50® and DV footage from P2 camera. The CitiDISK™ HD is powerful, lightweight, portable and, with its internal rechargeable battery, connects directly to Panasonic camera and captures footage to its miniature high-capacity hard drive and to tape simultaneously – directly from the camera's FireWire port into Quicktime( Final Cut Pro 6.x ) or AVI2( Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 or CS3 ) files. When done shooting, set your camcorder to P2 View mode and press “QPLAY” to view the last video clip on the viewfinder or simply plug it into your computer’s FireWire port and edit/play directly on the digitized video at anytime.
For P2 camera user, the CitiDISK HD also slave in sync with the REC function of the camera even there is no P2 card inserted. Other families of camera, slave recording function is turned on with tape inserted.
Note: Although the CitiDISK HD is best suitable for Panasonic P2 family camera, but it does not limit itself to DV or HDV equipped camera.
